Gumbo

Gumbo are a new Americana band in Wellington playing a hearty mix of country, blues, classic R&B, standards, rock and folk.

On guitar, upright bass, banjo, fiddle, mandolin and percussion, they put out songs that are driving and catchy, acoustic and electric, older and newer, and fresh and familiar.

Gumbo’s songs span a world of deserts and borderlands, rivers and bayous, canyons and mountain passes, city limits and neon signs, highways and honky tonks, and stories of life’s road by truck, train, cadillac and motorcycle.
